We are small kennel in a quiet rural setting. There are 6 inside rooms for medium and big dogs and 4 inside rooms for small dogs. Our rooms are of a good size and several pens can accommodate 3 to 4 dogs from the same family.
With this small amount of kennel room we can get full very quickly, so if you know what dates you are planning on going away it may pay to book early.
Your dog will be exercised a minimum of 3 times a day, either individually, for the less social dogs, or in a very small group of the similar sized social dogs in our fully fenced play areas, with the owners permission. They can run around and play or merely laze in the sun or in the shade under the trees.
Please note we will not board any dogs that are aggressive towards humans or other dogs for our safety and our other guests safety.
We provide beds, either raised beds or baskets, lots of blankets and toys. You are more than welcome to bring along your own dogs bed and blankets from home, but please no bean bags.
We feed biscuits in the morning and a mixture of home cooked meals or chunky dog roll in the afternoon along with some more biscuits. Dogs are fed separately in the comfort and safety of their individual rooms. If you have several dogs sharing the same room, we can feed them separately if you wish. Water is available 24 hours a day.
I reserve the right not to board any dogs that are excessive barkers or dogs that consistently howl, especially during the night. This is for the consideration of our neighbours. We ask that your advise us of any behaviour issues that your dog may have.
I will not board any bitches in season or if you think they are coming into season. This is such a small kennel that I cannot accommodate these dogs, plus they can cause a lot of 'upset' with other dogs in our facilities.
I will board entire males, at my discretion, but I will not have more then 2 entire males in the kennels at any one time.
It is recommend that if your dog has not been into a boarding kennel before, and if it fits in with your schedule, either at our establishment or somewhere else, it is best for everybody, especially your dog, to bring them in during the morning opening hours, so they can get use to where they are and get a decent time out and about.
Please remember that all dogs must have a current vaccination certificate, covering the 'core vaccinations' and the Kennel Cough Vaccination and must be presented upon arrival at the kennels. The certificate must be current for the whole periods of boarding and must have been administered within the last 12 months of boarding. Also please note that any booster vaccinations needs to be completed 14 days prior to arrival date. No vaccination - no boarding can be offered.
Please note that I do not run small dogs with medium or big dogs, so please do not ask. If there are photos on our pages of small or big dogs playing together they are from the same family.
